A health-check report can look alarming when several values sit just outside the reference range. Context matters more than colour coding.
Haemoglobin
Mild variations are common and often dietary. Persistent low values need a cause, not just a supplement.
Fasting glucose and HbA1c
HbA1c reflects roughly three months of control and is far less affected by yesterday's dinner.
Lipid profile
LDL matters most for cardiac risk, but it is interpreted alongside your blood pressure, smoking history and family background.
Liver and kidney panels
Single mildly abnormal values are usually repeated before any further testing is ordered.
Bring the full report to your consultation — trends across years are more informative than one snapshot.
